The Good and the Bad From Manchester United’s Win Over Aston Villa

At this point, most Manchester United fans were sweating bucket loads, as it seemed Manchester United were going to give up their lead at the top of the table after holding it for just a mere seven days! But Sir Alex Ferguson wasn’t, because always the calm and collective, the man rightfully titled ‘Sir’ had a plan up his sleeve; oh and what a plan it was.

He showed once again why the Queen knighted him in the first place. But this plan was simpler than most others, it only contained a couple of elements; Sir Alex had his hypothesis set, but he had a secret ingredient, they call him ‘El Chicharito.’

In a game that was to go a long way in elucidating the title aspirations of these two teams, Manchester United managed to overcome the slight odds by securing their first win at Stamford Bridge in 10 years, closing the gap at the top of the table to just one point.
